Guilty / Freaker’s Ball Over

Holy Crap am I exhausted. I slept 13 hours last night, so I’m well on my way to recovery. I had planned on dedicating last week to deal with last minute things that might come up for the Freaker’s Ball, but as fate would have it, I was chosen to sit on a jury for a murder trial.
THEE SHITTENS
I could write a long, funny blog entry about the whole case and all the things that happened during my week in court, but I’ll save it for another day. We, the jury, DID, find the defendent GUILTY on all charges…and he’ll probably get somethinig like LIFE + 20 years.
The build up for the Freaker’s Ball was nice. It was chosen as a Critic’s Pick in the City Paper and Sam Sessa at the Baltimore Sun gave me a nice write-up. The actual event was LONGER THAN HELL…I will definitely re-think that for next year. Everything was going fairyly smoothly considering I lost BOTH of my dj’s to seen and unforseen circumstances.
The All-Teen Bands were a hell of a lot of fun and I plan on getting back together with them on a future project.
THE RIP-OUTS
I can’t thank everyone enough for all of their hard work and for performing at this year’s event (yes, that suggests another one next year). Sadly, WE ARE THE SEAHORSES’ set was ripped from the womb because of some “shit” that went down…but overall, I was happy with how it all went down.
