Talking Head..Fast Food…New Photos

The first bit of exciting news, which you’ve probably heard about is that Dan Macintosh is reopening the Talking Head (!!!) in the same charming location. The big day is slated for Sept. 1st with Jason Dove and the Magic Whip and who knows else performing.
I finally shot some stuff for the Black Metal Fast Food Fight which we’ve all been hearing about…for MONTHS. I even joked to organizer Peter Goode that I am going to start promoting the Granola Appreciation and Trail Mix Enthusiasts Party NOW for an event that will happen next summer. Hopefully, this will be sponsored by these wonderful people.
WAYNE MUTANT FLYER
I’m not sure what the F a BMFFF is besides the images I’ve seen of screaming Big Mac lovers in Wayne Mutant make-up, but that is where we artists can interpret that concept in our own way. The other day I got Rachel Warren and Carmen Carmichael together at Flux and I took some great shots of the two really chowing down on fried chicken, but to my HORROR 95% of the photos got corrupted when I transfered them from my camera to my new external hard drive. I didn’t realize they were corrupt when I decided to erase all the originals. That smarts. The shoot was very rushed so I may just reshoot now that I have more time. And WHY do I have more time? Because I gave my two weeks notice at work yesterday! Yes.

From the BMFFF, I raced to another location to shoot some stuff for this French magazine called TICKL. They wanted some fetishy Polaroids for the print version of their next issue. The digital shot below is from that shoot. Look for more photos like this and less club candid stuff from me from now on. Let me know if you want to model.

Love the new style; reminds me a little of Elmer Batters’ “Caruska Sittings”. You should check these out…lots of r. crumb legs in suntan pantyhouse and fabulous 70s sets. If you ever need a zaftig femme model, let me know. -Moogs from myspace
