I’m Not A DJ, But…

I will be DJing at the Zodiac/Club Charles on New Year’s Eve.
I don’t do anything fancy but play songs that I like. My first gig as DJ was at the Talking Head about three years ago where I went by the name DJ Lo-Fi. I played 45s only on ONE old educational-grade turntable. I wore a ski mask with a wig over that and could barely see what I was doing, but it was fun.
Earlier this year I did an Anti-DJ Dance Party and got about five friends who weren’t DJs either and together we fucked up, unplugged the system, skipped records, made dead air and bastardized the art of DJing.
I will be playing from 11pm on w/ local weirdos Cocos Palme performing live around 12:30pm.
